However, the most exciting feature of the bed is the anti-snoring device. This works by detecting vibrations through the bed and raising the vibrating area by seven degrees until the vibration, ie the snoring, stops. Then it lowers it to the original position. This really is the answer to many of our prayers. No more we will be woken by what feels like a small earthquake.
This bed is currently only for sale in America and is on the market from $20,000 to $50,000 depending on what features you request. This may seem a lot of money, but it surly is an investment. As group executive vice president for Leggett & Platt’s bedding division Mark Quinn said:
“I know it sounds like a lot, but you show me somebody that sleeps in a bed with someone that snores; I will show you a person that thinks $US20, 000 is a very small amount to pay to solve that problem.”
So in a nutshell this bed is one that we could only dream of. But perhaps once in this bed we will have dreams like never before, and wake feeling rich, extravagant and happy.
