The holidays are nearing, and visions of wreaths are in the air. Heres where you can buy, make or just enjoy looking at these seasonal decorations.

Howard Christensen Nature Center A workshop for making holiday ornaments and pine cone wreaths from natural materials will help raise money for the nature center, which is operated by Lilys Frog Pad Inc., 16190 Red Pine Drive, Kent City.

A class for adults and older teens, 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 20, costs $14 per person, $12 for students and seniors. Registration and payment is due before Nov. 14.

This furniture is one more example of how beautiful can be the nature itself just a little bit highlighted by some modern means. These tables by One & Co and produced by Council are made of Douglas Fir with all its knots, cracks and grain remained. The wood is just covered with silver to highlight all these imperfections. The Cronotime clock was designed by Pio Manzù as a promotional item for Fiat, later produced by Ritz-Italora in 1966. It was re-issued by Alessi from Italy. The shape of Cronotime is toric (part of a circular section ring) totalling a 1/6 of circumference. The shape in turn separated into two equal parts which swivel, allowing you to modulate the direction in which the dial is pointing with respect to the support surface.
